(Un)bolting of pipelines is very common and required for routine maintenance and construction of all piping infrastructure. With our hands-free tool, humans and their hands are able to distance themselves from the pipe and its joint for safety. This distance not only allows for additional safety in the bolting process but also clears enough space to allow a nimble robotic tool to better position itself in front of the pipe joint. With this additional clearance, the robotic tool can interface with multiple bolts at a time.</image:caption>
